Henderson, Donald Gene
Carl Maria von Weber : a guide to research
New York: Garland, 1990, 385 p.

This is what Donald Gene Henderson had to say:

An enthusiastic review of MEIN VIELGELIEBTER MUKS, edited by Bartlitz (item 245). Points out that it is the most extensive edition of Weber letters yet to appear and one of the most important publications of the 1986 Weber anniversary year. Finds these letters to be crucial to a deeper understanding of Weber's personality and creative endeavors. Veit includes a previously unpublished letter from Weber to Caroline Brandt of October 20, 1813, which is in a Philadelphia collection.
